TThe McGill International Health Initiative is a student-led group at McGill University, based within the Faculty of Medicine.
We believe in the importance of global health equality, based on the assumptions of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which holds health as an essential human right. As students in health-related fields, we believe that we have a role to play in both understanding and taking action towards health equity here in Canada and abroad. We strive to increase student awareness of global health issues through lectures, discussions, conferences and activism.
